A short, plain-English privacy notice.
We’re MiMi’s Hair (96b Old Church Road, Nailsea, BS48 4ND). This notice covers how the website handles your data — salon records (your appointment history, contact details for confirmations) are handled separately by Fresha and aren’t affected by this notice.
What this site collects directly: we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7XRVZET4FJ) to count visits and understand which pages people read. IP addresses are anonymised before storage and we don’t pass data to Google’s advertising products. You can turn analytics off at any time via the cookie preferences below. The chat assistant remembers your conversation in your own browser (via localStorage) so a refresh doesn’t lose your progress — it never leaves your device until you choose to email or call us.
Embedded content: a few sections of the site pull in third-party content. These services may set their own cookies and see your IP address when their content loads:
- Instagram feed — powered by Elfsight (Elfsight privacy policy) and Meta (Instagram privacy policy).
- Google Maps — the embedded map of the salon (Google privacy policy).
- Fresha booking is a regular link — clicking it takes you to fresha.com (Fresha privacy policy).
- Google Fonts — for typography. They process the IP address making the request (Google privacy policy).
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous, aggregated visit stats. Sets
_ga/_ga_*cookies, IP addresses anonymised. No data shared with Google’s ad products (Google privacy policy).
These embeds load by default so the page is whole on your first visit. If you’d rather they didn’t, click below to switch them off — we’ll remember your choice.
